Events at Old Marion Baptist Church
Discover upcoming events designed to bring our community closer and deepen our faith. From fellowship to service, there's always something happening here.

Connecting through fellowship
Our events are structured opportunities for connection beyond regular worship services. Fellowship dinners, choir programs, retreats, and small group gatherings help people move from being attendees to being known. They foster trust and accountability, encourage mentorship across generations, and help new members integrate more quickly, strengthening unity around shared values and mission.

Women of Authority and Restoration Women’s Conference is a powerful gathering designed to empower, encourage, and restore women through the transformative power of prayer, faith, and spiritual authority. This conference creates a sacred atmosphere where women can reconnect with God, renew their strength, and walk boldly in their divine purpose.
Through dynamic speakers, heartfelt worship, intercessory prayer, and life-changing messages, attendees will experience healing, restoration, and spiritual growth. The conference focuses on breaking barriers, rebuilding faith, and equipping women to operate confidently in the authority God has given them in every area of life.
Join women from all walks of life for a time of inspiration, sisterhood, and breakthrough as we embrace restoration, deepen our prayer lives, and rise in spiritual authority. This is more than a conference—it is a movement of healing, empowerment, and transformation.

Vacation Bible School
Hooked: Matthew 4:19 — “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Dive into an exciting ocean-themed Vacation Bible School adventure where you'll learn what it means to follow Jesus and help bring others to Him. Hooked teaches that when we answer God’s call, we are “reeled in” with purpose, love, and faith to serve His kingdom. Through powerful Bible lessons, worship, games, crafts, and fellowship, children and adults will discover how God can use them to share His light everywhere they go.
This VBS theme will encourage you to:
- Follow Jesus faithfully
- Share God’s love with others
- Serve with kindness and compassion
- Grow stronger in faith
- Become “fishers of men” for Christ
